Our Identity

Hey all, Ben here.
This is really last minute, and I just hope that my idea be appreciated..
Tomorrow's Rube Goldberg (or Goldburg?) Day and every mentor group is to come up with an identity for the class.
After cracking my head this evening, I came up with a punk-style identity.. Though I'm not sure whether everyone is willing to accept this, I've been asked to share this, so here I go..

My idea is to wear a casual shirt, whatever colour whatever design, nevermind. Then wear the school's formal uniform on the outside, with the school tie hanging looselyaround our necks. As for the bottom, we could wear jeans or long pants. To those who're willing to fully embrace this idea, gelling your hair in a whacky way might help. =)
That's my idea, and I hope yall like it? Haha.. If there are no alternatives.. We wear this?

class outing

`meet at the harbourfront mrt at 9 am
`if you do not know how to get there, pls tell weiying or zuxin asap so as for us to bring you there.
`if you already know how to get there then just be there on time. ;)
`hopefully try to wrap up by 4 pm so after washing up we will be back at habour front mrt by 4.30 pm. Hopefully u guys can get home as early as possible~
`lunch will be at some fastfood restaurant remember to bring your $$$
`since we are at the beach and will get wet, bring extra clothes and toiletries etc.

i know some foreigners are going back home,
so let's get it done fast and we'll have more fun

here are some normal options

bbq at any park ( rollerblading riding bikes playing games etc etc, i'd like to form a games comm , so that we can plan games ahead, there'll also be ppl incharge of food, etc etc) - east coast west coast, as long as u give me directions there, and u know where to book the bbq pits etc etc, then i'm fine with it

random adventures at sentosa- haha for this, i have no idea what to do, i'm not so familliar with what exactly you can do there so apart from running around and having a campfire etcetc, tell me what else you can do

"amazingrace" around a park etc - eg: if this is at eastcoast park this will involve walking/cycling/rollerblading in grps of 4-6. i have played this before, so some kind people. will have to be our gamemasters ( heh note the word kind)
erm estimated time 2hrs?

ice skating - i dunnoe if this is actually advisable for a class of 24, but it'll be fun
escape theme park - I AM AFRAID OF ROLLERCOASTERS OK
wildwildwet - but it may not be workable for some girls

yepp apart from that, movies ( tickets will be cheaper) are ok too.

This post was put up by me on the 3rd of june around midnight. I was then asked to remove it. But seeing the current situation in the present tagbaord, I have reposted this.

No Perry.
We will not put the tagboard back on.
Or rather, I think we should not.
And I think many of you know full well why I have removed the tagboard.
As seen in the last few weeks of the tagboard's existance, there has been the re-assuming of ones identity.
The best solution in this case would then be to remove the tagboard entirely.
So that we will not see anymore cases of re-assuming of identities.
I do hope you do recall the period of time when we were all discriminating a certain classmate on our blog.
I admit.
I was then part of it.
Reiko then shut the class blog down temporarily.
Which was then opened shortly.
The point is.
We are a class.
This is our class blog.
Not a playground for fun, joy or to taunt and tease others.
We will be with each other for another few years and some of us may end up taking the same courses in university.
This should not be the way of how we, as a class or rather, a mentor group, should act.

i have removed SNHSSNSCS (Society against NUS High School Selection for NUSHS Science Camp Students) -- not that i am biased towards everybody, but i got kicked out of it...
and put in ASHERESH (Association for School Holiday Extension and Reduction in Exam Stress and Homework). as usual membership is FREE and please think of a better acronym that has the same denotation and connotation as this. thank you people.

from sl experience, there is no day that is free for everybody for the outing.

from my experience, i suck at computers. so will someone kindly reinstate the tagboard. impersonating tags will be removed by the victim.

2. i am not interested in class outings, but like the most eccentric me, i may decide to turn up. just don't bug me. thanks. umm, football, badminton, and bowling sessions and conferences at my house not counted. note that SL IS part of "class outings".

3. all the fuss about potasha has died down. UH, happy 17th anniversary si hongbo (over already by now, please strike out from the birthday list, thanks). CONGRATULATIONS on getting last in class counting from bottom. however, for the greater benefit and harmony of the class, i am experimenting with AAAAAAA, as some of you know from msn-ing me. it is the Association Against Arrogance Angst Artifice And Anger. we are open to new members. sign-up and all activities organised by AAAAAAA are free, simply add "AAAAAAA" to your nickname, with or without brackets (any resemblance here to any political or non-political show is not a parody and is purely accidental, sorry, my political stance is currently neutral because i can't vote). thank you. please join.

class outing!

hello 301,
the june holidays are here! celebrate! need some fun to brighten up ur hols? wells, the 2 of us are thinking of organising a class outing! YAY! haahs we hope that all 301 ppl can make it and that through this class outing, we will be able to find and rekindle the class spirit! we really wish that everyone can come together and bond as a class.

Details:
1. firstly before planning any events, we definitely need to arrange a date when most of us, if not all, are free ;p therefore, pls state when you are free during the hols. ^^
`2nd week/3rd week/last week
`weekdays or weekends
`state preferable time especially by what time u must return home etc!
`our dear foreign students: if you are returning to your hometown pls try to state when u will be free

2. secondly, we need ideas for the class outing!
`indoors kind
-movie outing @ any movie theatre
-ice skating @ ice rink at jurong east
`outdoors kind
-@sentosa: beach, playing games, water activities etc
-@pasir ris park or east coast park: cycling and games

so hey everyone we really need your cooperation! Pls try to reply to the email which will be sent tonight asap so we can plan ahead ^^ if you have any opinions kindly voice out and we will try our very best to make the necessary arrangements. Thanks very much and enjoy your hols!
